Croatian State Ensamble LADO, visited the east coast and Canada celebrating their 60th anniversary, on behalf the Croatian Cultural Center I was sent to Chicago to attend their perfromances and present them with a token of friendship, a doll dressed in costume from Sunja, in Posavina, being one of Lado's signature costume and because the history behind it.

They held two outstanding performances, a full  at concert at Harris Theater and a vocal concert at St Jerome's Croatian Church, displaying their exquisite national costumes and enchanting the audience with their beautiful voices and skillfull and graceful dancing.
